Dave Williams

David Williams has been a practitioner and lecturer since graduating the Central Saint Martin’s postgraduate illustration course in 1992.

As well as being part of the lecturing team on the University of Brighton’s Illustration and Graphics BA (Hons) courses he is an associate lecturer on the MA Communication Design course at Central Saint Martins and has been a National Diploma and Foundation studies lecturer at Richmond-upon-Thames College since 1993. David is an affiliate member of the IFL (Institute for Learning).

As part of his professional practice David has worked for publishers and design companies in the UK and internationally including: -Heinemann, Creative Review, Frances Lincoln, Avon books (USA), Bloomberg (USA), Big Cat Records, The BBC, Interbrand, IBM and Rain Design Partners (Dublin) who commissioned work for the Wexford International Festival Opera launch in 2008 and for marketing, advertising and website material. He has contributed editorial and cover design images to the At work Partnership since 2003. David is also regularly commissioned to make paintings for private and corporate collections.

He lives off the shoulder of Alexandra Palace in North London with the accompaniment of a pianist partner and an eight-year-old Doctor Who addict.
